Three Blonde Pink Divas'

Today I decided to give some recognition to three lovely blondes
in pink who have been with us for some time.

First there is Dolly Pardon who has been dubbed the "Queen of Country Music".

She got her first big break when signed with the Porter Wagoner show in 1967

We know Dolly comes from a large family and has come a long way from her days

in the Smokey Mountains where the large family lived . Much of her personal life remains a mystery

Next is the divine Miss Piggy.

She is a pig who is convinced she is destined for stardom, and nothing or anyone is going to get in her way. She made her first appearance in 1974 on the TV Herb Alpert special . She also appeared with Dolly in 1987 on Dolly's musical variety show

And of course BARBIE

She was the fashion doll launched in 1959 by Ruth Handler an American businesswoman.

She has underwent many changes in the last fifty years. Mattel estimates there is 100,000 avid barbie collectors.
