This rosebush belonged to my mother-in-law who passed away many year ago. Her house was sold and I asked for a start from her rosebush. It has bloomed many a year until winter before last when the rabbits ate it down to nothing because of the hard winter and lots of snow.
Below is a picture in early spring before it started to flower.
This year it is full of roses and a part of Jo still lives with our family.
It is thriving and loaded with roses this year. I love it and so would she.
Very pretty! I also have a rose bush that I treasue. It came from my parents house before they moved. My dad started it for me. (he passed away 4 years ago). It looks alot like yours. Mine is called 7 sisters. It was in our yard as long as I remember as I was growing up I am now almost 55. I started one off mine for mom for her new place.
