I took a ride with my friend again to the farm market north of us. The place was alive with activity. We had to park on the roadside as the lots were full and they were even parking in the orchard.
We knew it would be busy but not to this extent. It was certainly a day for family fun. They had brought in an elephant , so you could take a ride and there was live music. We spent several hours there just watching the little ones have fun.. There was several things for the adults to do also.
Here are some new pictures I took
Thought this was cute
Lots of gourds for decorating
An unusual pumpkin with warts
If you notice in the background their is a corn maze
A cute zebra
There were also cows, a donket, rabbits, chickens, ducks, goats and so much more.
This sign is self explantory
This one we found amusing. it's an air compressed gun they put apples in and you had targets to shoot at, such as a deer, an old car, vampire, etc. Some of older ones were really good.. I think they were getting some practice for deer hunting.
Remember the pumpkin house ? This one is not blurry.
This lovely home belongs to the family that own the market. They were plenty of pumpkins set out in the yard and porch railing.
Keep an eye on the sky this week. You may see some strange flying objects overhead. I am joining Seasonal Sunday. See more entries at

ReplyDeleteThe squirrel is just too funny!
Looks like it was a beautiful day and lots of fun. Where the heck did they get an elephant and a camel? Love that pumpkin house. I haven't seen pumpkins here this year; but even if we do get them, they cost about $30 and I'm not paying that much. At least I was able to find Halloween candy today at the grocery store. Sending hugs your way, Tammy

ReplyDeleteFarm markets filled with the colors and textures of the season are so fun this time of year. In this part of the country pumpkins abound and cost much less than where they are not so plentiful.
