White Wednesday and a winner

My post of white is a rose sculpture made of paper from the husband and wife team of Allan and Patty Eckman. They do these stunning and intricate Native American sculptures and also delicate and beautiful flowers. I know I posted a few before but they are so beautiful that I wanted to share again , in case you hadn't seem them. Imagine? Made from paper.

This native American sculpture is a work of wonder.

And now for the winner of the scrapbook paper that I am giving in honor of my new great-granddaughter. The lucky winner is Mary Ellen from " Mary's Meanderings" I hope she will enjoy these very pretty papers. As soon as she sends me her address they will be on their way.

Some English poetry ---The White Rose

A White Rose

John Boyle O’Reilly (1844–1890)

THE RED rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

But I send you a cream-white rosebud 5
With a flush on its petal tips;
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips.

  12. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your comment, Elaine. At least I know now I am not the only one with blogger problems. I do like you do, just mess with it. Sometimes fixing it takes longer than it did for me to write the post. LOL
