Vintage Saturday Evening Post

As you know I have been in Ohio visiting family.. A nearby town was having yard sales and I found this old 1924 magazine for $1.00 and it is in great condition.

Click on pictures for a larger view
We have had a great time looking through the magazine. Back then it cost five cents. It has 212 pages and the print is small ..lots of illustrations with the stories

Wow...the price of a car has certainly went up!!

I also picked up this issue of Ladies Home Journal from Feb. 1966.Remember back then the magazines were much larger in height and width.  Today they are down sized to about ten by twelve.

Love this old add for Lipton soup.

Will be posting some pictures from our trip in the next few days.
Hope you have enjoyed looking these old pages from the magazine.
Thanks to all of you who left me comments while I was away.  I love hearing from all of you.
