It's Pink Saturday Again

I guess I have been  thinking of something else.   SNOW    I have been staring out the window at
it knowing that I should go out  and shovel it away from the entrance to the house.. We knew it was coming but there is so much of  it. Some places close by got fourteen inches. I have about eight inches on the ground..  I have to depend on others to help with the snow since my husband died four years ago. My son-in-law Ernie usually plows me out when it gets real bad. I am so thankful for him doing it.

And because it snowed I have found some pink snowmen.

I think this little snowgirl is ready to go shopping.

This guy would look nice hanging on my tree

This young snowgirl has a dreamy look in her eye. I think she is adorable. I love her hand warmer. I remember having one as a little girl . Mine was wine colored with white fur.

And the last is a beautiful pink Cardigan sweater that I found on line
at the Potpourri gift catalog.  It looks nice and warm and it's the right color for our pink Saturday.

So if you live in the snow zone go make a pink snowman

or do like this lady and make a snowman cake. Looks good enough to eat.

  1. Oh Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday. I love your post today. You have been blessed with angel kisses as the snowflakes have landed in piles everywhere. I am so thrilled for you.

I love it if you don't have to worry about getting out in it, or falling. Just be careful and enjoy it. I love the whiteness of it all, and I love the still of the night when it snows. You open the door and hear nothing. Even the birds are huddled for the night. That always fascintes me so.

Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and let me share my pink post with you.

    Country hugs...Sherry

  2. HA! That last snowman is a diaper cake used for a baby shower gift. Very cute! I have a friend here who makes them but have never seen one that looks like a snowman. It's been warmer today than usual. A few sprinkles just fell but I hope it doesn't rain much more than that because of the leak in the kids bedroom. Supposed to be much cooler tomorrow which is hard to believe since it was so warm today. I wear wearing shorts and short sleeves to clean the balconies, repot trees, etc. Stay safe and warm! Love, Tammy

I love the pink Shopping snow lady...just pure cuteness!

My neighbor here in town always digs the neighborhood out...I should probably get my own pink purse and go shopping for a nice gift for him as he is always so very helpful!

  10. Hi Purvail, your snow picture is so pretty. As long as you're safe and warm, that is. Glad your son-in-law shovels it away for you. What a pretty pink sweater you found, just darling. I'd love to wear that about. And the "cake" is adorable. I didn't realize it was made of diapers 'til I read Tammy's post. What a cute idea and well-executed.
Happy Pink Saturday and Merry Christmas~hugz

IT IS MADE WITH 3 DIFFERENT SIZE BOXES. I SIT IT OUT NOW AS A DECORATION. WHEN I PACK IT HOLD SOME OF MY DECORATIONS. I LOVE IT. HOW DO YOU KEEP COMING UP WITH SO MUCH PINK THINGS? LOVE THEM.
