Aledia wrote me saying she is giving her gift to her mother who had been in the hospital and said she would like it.. I think that is so sweet of her to let her mother have it...so sweet that I enclosed a few goodies for Aledia herself .
I have been dealing with arthritis in my neck on left side which is causing pain in my head and neck..sometime a bit dizzy ( but then I'm a blonde ) . It bothers me to sit at computer at times..doing exercises that should help some and a new med.
Tomorrow I am helping my granddaughter Jasmine with a yard sale.. I hope she does well.
My friend Nancy who has lung cancer has just returned from the hospital after a week's stay where she had a treatment to help her breath better and prevent so much fluid from building up. I am off to visit her this morning. The chicken wall hanging in my header picture was a gift from Nancy a few years ago.
For those who sent cards to my sister here is news of my sister Kathi who was in the car accident.. She has been transfered to a health care home that has rehab and will be there four to six weeks depending on how soon she get her strenth back . Below is what is left of her car.
On a more cheerful note I am posting this. My grandson James asked his girlfriend's Dad for his daughter's hand in marriage.. he got the green light and I see a wedding in the future.
Another few hot days coming our way.. Hope everyone is surving this long hot dry summer.
Congrats to Aledia. So nice that she is giving the gift to her mom. I called mom today for her birthday and she updated me on Aunt Kathi. When you see the car, you realize how lucky she is. Congrats to James. Hugs, Tammy

ReplyDeleteWe didn't check the mail until late last night but when we did, there was your package. I certainly wasn't expecting anything else from you but your kindness was so greatly appreciated. I've been a little under the weather since Thursday and your package put a smile on my face!
I love all the goodies you sent and I can't wait to start using them. I loved the little note card as well, I jut might put it in a frame. I will be seeing my Mom next week and I'm just going to surprise her with the teapot chime, I just know she will love it and I will make sure to get a picture and do a little post about everything you sent.
I'm so sorry to hear about your sisters accident, from the looks of the car she is lucky to be alive!! I will be praying for her to have a full recovery! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday....many blessings to you...(hugs)
