My first Seasonal Sunday post


    Fall here along the lake shore came in with rain and gusting winds .. Now is the time I need to put my flowers away for winter and the lawn furniture. Since I live alone I will need the grandsons to come and help their grandma.   It requires some heavy lifting and I can't do that anymore.  My friend Sandy came by and we took a ride through the country side.. Lots of beautiful foliage now.
 Here are a few pictures we snapped along the way.

                      We stopped at a place that had a gift shop and produce for sale. They       even had a corn maze and a small petting zoo for the little ones

                         A drive toward the lake  was our next adventure

                              
                                           

.. the wind had picked up and it looked
like it wanted to rain so it was time to start back home and have something warm to
drink . A hot cup of cocoa for me and Sandy had a cup of warm cider that she had purchsaed at the produce stop

 October is the month to really enjoy the change in scenery, and time for warm soups and good company.  Enjoy

    I like the field of pumpkins. Nice shot! And, I've never seen a pumpkin house before so am glad you posted it even though it was a bit blurry.

    Looks like you had a nice drive in the countryside with your friend. Love the field of pumpkins and the apples. When we lived in New Mexico we went apple picking every year ... picnic and apple cider. Thanks for the memories and welcome to Seasonal Sunday!

    Pretty scenery Elanie!What a nice ride that must of been.fall is such a speacial time.Love the pumpkins all over the field.Im thinking the hot cider sounds to good,lol.

    I've never been to your area during the Fall season. It looks absolutely beautiful! I do miss the changing of the seasons. Everything here always looks the same day after day after day. :/ Love ya, T
