I noticed I have done over 600 posts and thought it would be nice to have a giveaway.
See rules below and what you could win
To those of you who wonder where I've been....there are many things going on at my home. My doctor diagnosed me with trigrminal neuralgia ..I have lots of neck stiffness and some imbalance, due they believe to arthritis . My dearest friend had her cancer return and this time it's in her lungs and not treatable. I have been spending a lot of time with her. My granddaughter and family have been visiting from Fort Drum where her husband is stationed.
To win this lovely chime set from Hobby Lobby you must be a follower and you must post the giveaway on one of your posts. US entries only due to postage cost. Sorry. Please let me know that you did. That will give you two entries
The giveaway ends July 29th at midnight.
I have a few other goodies I will add from Micheal's craft store
Good Luck
Be sure to visit our hostess Ms. Beverly
A thought
What would young people do is this was the way of dress for young ladies?
Elaine, so glad to see you back. Wondered what was going on, but then figured you were just enjoying summer. So sorry about the medical issues, it is a big bummer. Hope you will get past this easily. Prayers lifting for your friend ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight IF kids wore clothes like this today!
I'll try & remember to post this on my next blog post.
This is a darling giveaway, thank you.
Have a great weekend ~

Hi Elaine- I am sorry that your health has been suffering and that there has been so much going on in your life. Don't sign me up for your giveaway. I have won 6 giveaways so far this year and I feel way too guilty already. I'll let someone win that hasn't had a win yet.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love that dress? My little kids would LOVE to dress up like that for a special occasion, believe it or not. xo Diana
Sorry to hear of so many distressful things in your life. It seems when it rains problems it pours. May you and friends be blessed with better days.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update.
ReplyDeleteAlso thank you for the Give Away. But since I never did one myself, I don't enter into any, which other bloggers do. Please and thank you.
Oh that dress!!!! Beautiful for its time. And when that was the fashion, young people would have wanted it. All depends on when-one-was-born. I was born in 1937, and I'm still here. And the clothes I wore, way-back-in-the-50's etc. Would shock girls of today even. -grin-
Girdles and stockings and bras-which-came-to-points, starched crinolines under circle skirts, and...... -chuckle-
I miss seeing you! I tweaked my back and have had a really long and difficult week! But I will pray about your health and that of your friend! I wish her much peace and calm during the difficult journey. I love following you Elaine. Many blessings to you with your lovely post! Anne

ReplyDeleteElaine, so sorry to here about your diagnosis. My daughter has something similar but her's is from getting rear ended in an auto accident. I know from her experience that it is extremely painful. I hope the doctors have found a treatment that gives you some relief.
