Below is a birthday gift from my daughter and family.. A nice blue bird bath for my back garden.
Have a great day .. make the most of it and do something to make yourself happy.
What a lovely gift, Elaine, and such a pretty blue!
ReplyDeleteI recently had another birthday, and my mother has taken over my face too!
Happy Blue Monday. Be sure to check out my Kindle Fire giveaway.
LOL- Isn;t that the truth about the mirror? Love you blue birdbath- those kids did good in picking that out- o Diana
ReplyDeleteLovely pic/saying...
ReplyDeleteI haven't recognized the face-in-the-mirror (or the bod) in years and years and years. -gigggggles-
But I just have to keep remembering, that I'm very glad to be able to walk over to a mirror, and look at that-not-familiar-women in a mirror. :-))))
Sometimes that mirror has a real 'attitude!' I am also just so thankful to be able to walk to the mirror, eventho I always wonder, "Where is that young woman that used to live here?"
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, A belated Happy Birthday. I don't like looking in the mirror because I see all the gray hair. I get told I do look like my mother, but her hair wasn't the color of mine. Have a great day and enjoy all of the fun. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder how that woman in the mirror has arrived at this point.:)
ReplyDeleteI have been noticing for the past few years that Mom is looking back at me too. What a sweet blue bird bath from your kids. Love it when they really think about what we really like. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Elaine, I know many women see Mom in the mirror. I however, see my Dad, or actually his sister. The older I get the more I see her! She had blue eyes and I have brown, but there is no doubt that her DNA is in me! Linda
ReplyDeleteI loved the photo and thank you for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteYour gift is also very beautiful. I bet the birds will sure enjoy it also.
Hugs
There are times when I definitely see my mother in me. That blue birdbath is so beautiful. Hope all is well. Love, T
ReplyDeleteOh Elaine, I love this saying on here and the beautiful picture of the peacock. I love peacocks. I recently took a bunch of pictures of them at the zoo. Aren't they amazing? This is a reminder to all of us that we should see how special we are inside, just like the lovely peacock.
