Vintage Hallmark Valentine

      Welcome to another pink Saturday .  I am anxious to see what the other blogers have posted for this day of pinks..    I am showing a Hallmark Valentine card from the year 1937.  I came by way of it when I purchased  this old box of vintage greeting cards  at a garage sale a few years ago.. I couldn't pass them up.  I believe I paid $2.00 for the lot.   

This is the front of the card .

The inside of the card..  it was sent to a little baby by the name Kitty on her 1st valentine day by her Auntie.. This was info on the back of the card .


 Below is a delicate looking wedding card that was among the cards also.
It has a white ribbon tucked among the flowers.. The back of the card said kitchen clock so I assume that was the wedding gift  from the senders of this card.



  Later I will show some of the other cards that was in the box..

  15. You can hardly even buy a card for less than a couple of dollars these days and they certainly aren't as nice as the vintage ones. How are you liking the Kindle? I'm not sure about going tech with everything. I still like to hold a book in my hands. Hope you are having a good day. Love, T

    I love vintage cards and postcards. That Valentine is so precious. Remember the days when we'd decorate a shoe box or other box for school to exchange Valentines? You got a good deal on the box of vintage cards!
