Pink Saturday wishes.

Presents wrapped in pink and announcing
             the winner of my giveaway

Let us remember to go by and say hello to hour hostess Ms Beverly who always does at good job at keeping us up to date on pink Saturdays participants
You can find her at  http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

By now most of us are all shopped out and need a break from baking and all the others things we are so desperately trying to finish up for next weekend.   I have a chair waiting for you to take a break and a cup of hot chocolate waiting just for you

.. Sooo take a minute to relax while I tell you who won the giveaway for the "Susan Branch" Christmas book.

The winner is Myrna from My Enchanted Home.... My grandson picked her name from the fish bowl.

I also want to mention a giveaway at  a Delightsome life  She has some wonderful items in her giveaway.

Don't you just love packages wrapped so pretty and wondering what could be in them?

Are you one of those that pick them up and shake them ? I’ve heard some say they unwrap ever so gently and take a peek.

My friend told of his older brother switching tags or gifts if he liked his brother's better.  I think if it had been wrapped in pink he might not have done it...thinking it was a girl's.  I'm sure we all have stories to tell.
Most of my grandchildren like their gifts
wrapped like the one below. When they become teenager and older it is so hard to know what to buy that they will enjoy or wear.  I'm sure many of you have the same problem
Wishing all my friends a very Merry Christmas.. Let’s remember there are others less fortunate and lets give to those if we can. God bless our troops returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan who have missed many a Christmas with their families  Most of all let us not forget the reason for this special day.. The birth of Jesus in Bethlehem so many years ago.
