Flowers in pink

                        are so pretty but they can bring danger to the unsuspected. I have some pink yarrow in my flower gardens . It has started to die off now and the flowers are turning the dirty brown and needs to be cut off. I was doing exactly that the other night  when all of the sudden I felt  a sting on my left arm...yes you guessed it.   A bee sting....from out of  nowhere  it came.


It swelled up and turned this bright pink.  I believe I might have been stung twice. I'm so glad that I am not allergic to bees. I have a grandson who needs a shot as soon as he is stung.

    Your pink yarrow is glorious! I had some yellow and it only flourished for two years and now it is gone. I hope my husband didn't get it with the weed killer!
    I'm so sorry a bee stung you! They are out in force this summer here in Denver. They cluster on my sunflowers. Take care of that sting. How COULD they sting a flower girl like you?

    BOY, YOUR ARM SURE TURNED PINK AND SO BIG. I AM SCARED OF BEE'S. DID THE BEE LEAVE HIS STINGER IN YOUR ARM? IF SO, DID YOU GET IT OUT? THE WORST TIME IS AT BEDTIME. IT SEEMS THAT IS WHEN IT HURTS THE MOST. SAME WITH SUNBURNS. YOU DIDN'T MENTION IT IN YOUR E-MAIL TO ME. HOPE IT ISN'T HURTING TODAY. LOVE THE FLOWERS, THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. LOVE KAY
