My adopted stray cat sits and prays that he can catch a bird... I pray that he does not and the bird lives to see a new day. ( A church is usually a safe haven.)
This morning I went into the back yard and saw the bird house and stake on the ground. I think the cat might have made such an attempt. I put the house and pole back up and saw that the bird was revisiting the nest. Next year the house goes on a higher pole
I hope all your prayers are answered today.
Hi! Glad the bird survived! Cats are just doing that by instinct so we can't really get mad at them. I love both birds and cats. Your cat is such a beautiful color! And you found the cutests little bird and birdbath graphic to end your post - love it...

Oh my goodness! That is the greatest picture ever. So cute! It is as if he's saying "Dear God, please send a birdie my way." Oh no! Poor little birdie. It is instinct -- I'm sure he's much better at catching them than Jingles at this point. Your outside cat sure is pretty. Look forward to meeting him this summer. I'll email you soon. I just don't get into my emails much anymore. Work has been so swamped for weeks -- but only 6 more days and then I am finished. In fact, I need to go get dressed and hit the road. Bye for now. Love, Tammy
ReplyDeleteHi: Love your bird nests. I see you have the same love of plates that I do. I want to invite you to join us for Tea Cup Tuesday. I see you also like cups. I am sure the ladies would love to see your treasures. Blessings, Martha
