A pretty homemade envelope

I received this pretty envelope with a valentine in it. When I looked closer after opening I saw my friend Barb had made it herself.

She used a page from an old I decided to try one myself. Since I didn't have any with flowers I used another old one that had porches on it.

I took the page and folder in the edges like she did

When I turned it over it looked like this

I then folded it up so it would be an envelope size

Next I put on an address label and I think it looks pretty good for the first time.
To seal it you use some scotch tape

After talking to my girlfriend about the envelope....she said she has used many colorful pages from magazines and old calenders. They do make pretty envelope and not expensive.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
