Pink Saturday with books and envelopes

Welcome to another pink Saturday.. Before you look at my blog today please visit our hostess Ms Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to find more pink beauties and new blogging friends

Earlier this week I showed how to make a home made envelope. My friend Barb graciously shared a picture of envelopes she created by using old calender pages with flowers. Are they not beautiful?

This coming week I decided I wanted to start reading again since they call for snow this coming week. I have so many books that I need to read so I can pass them on--- so I choose a few books with pink on their covers.

Two Romantic stores in the first

The above book is filled with helpful health advice and recipes along with love notes to moms

Confessions of Four Friends--- Through the best times and worst of times, these good friends have discovered together the treasure of authentic faith. Punctuated with humor, song lyrics and whimsical illustrations. ( This is the one I want to start first)

Dixie Hearts--From a charming small town, to a corporate high -rise,to the rural swampland, romance is brewing a passel of trouble for three Alabama women.

May you all find your journey this weekend an easy one. Saturday blessings to all.

I love to make envelopes out of calendar pages. I have a book that I got with a gift card yrs. ago. I have about 3 or 4 calendars to use for it too...maybe I'll get to it this spring.
