Some days I'm up and other days I'm down.. It's all because old man winter and mother nature can't decide what they want this year. This has been such a mild winter here so far. We usually get snow before Thanksging and it stays with us until March. There has not been enough to get out the shovel where I live. The sun beats on my flower bed and on sunny days I can feel the daffodills wanting to peek out.. Then we get a day where old man winter huffs and puffs and blows the cold northwest wind.
I guess I need to get out my pots and some bulbs and do the above.
I just keep thinking spring !!!
Until this guy below shows us what he's all about. Oh .. I'm sure he will get his way and the wind will blow and the snow will pile up.
I guess maybe I should just find a comfy place and take a sleep
and dream of flowers and spring
I am posting with Sally from

My sentiments exactly! I found a daffodil about 8" tall in the garden ... this weather has everything & everyone confused.

My sentiments as well Elaine.I have been thinking about spring planting and gardens.I even drew up a rough draft of how I would like it to look this year LOL.Here in Pennsylvania its the same.I know when we will get cold and snow and thats real close to Spring it happened alot of times that way.
ReplyDeleteHappy new week ahead!
Hi Elaine- Weird weather here, too. We don't have a speck of snow and usually by now we have at least a 2-3 foot base. Today it was 40! This is the Frozen Tundra- what is going on?
ReplyDeleteI am dreaming of Spring too...can't come soon enough for me-xo Diana
Although I like all of them, the first and last are my favorites. Beautiful.
