Saturday ... A new year in pink

A thought came to mind today..a bit silly but I thought I would put it in my blog.   Before I
do lets pay a visit to Beverly our hostess. http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Also  would you stop by a new blog I recently paid a visit to.     Janice at
  Blue Bell Woods       http://www.bluebell-woods.blogspot.com/

We all know that the new year starts out as new baby boy..  That baby grows into  old father time
by the end of the year..  It is always a boy..we don't have an old mother times..

I think this young lady is trying to look into the future and see what a little girl would look like for the new year.  It is a sculpture we saw at the Meijier Gardens we visited over the weekend

I wonder what she is looking at and what  she is thinking.
Don't you love all the flowers that adorn this lady from another world?
.

How new and cute our baby is.

I'm thinking this would make a cute  New Year baby

I wonder how fast one would age in the given time of 365 days?
Certainly make you think.

  One can only speculate
What month is this

Or this

The lines and wrinkles are starting to show

I can feel my bones start to creak by now

Still some work left in our mother time

And then the year comes to an end

Thanks for indulging this old lady of seventy.

Enjoy your weekend
