Red Wednesday

Red Wednesday with  Sue at  http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/

Below is some glass work done by  Dale Chihuly. I took these along with some others when we visited the Fredrick Meijier Gardens..  The glass work is unusual and so colorful. This piece is hanging from the ceiling in the dining area

Two summers ago we saw his outside displays in the gardens.. So beauty and in all colors.

I hope if you have the opportunity to see Mr. Chihuyl's
works in glass  you will do so.

  7. Those are amazing. His work is awesome. I did get to see some of his work in Vegas about 7 years ago. I wish I could of stayed to enjoy it more, but I was rushed because a family member was taking us on a tour through several places in one night!

  10. Hi Elaine!

Oh how I love Chilhuly! His work is fabulous. We have a permanent display of Dale's works in the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio. Plus some of his work is a part of our Columbus Art Museum. It always amazes me. I've seen some documentaries on his glass blowing and it's so amazing to watch the process.
I'm so glad to hear you had an opportunity to visit some of his work. LOVE the tree!

    Hugs, Sherry
