White Wednesday

    White..  for Wednesday   and also some pictures for Outdoor Wednesday. This mosaic I put together to show how some animals can hide themselves. They certainly are beauties and can camouflage themselves in their surrounding ...at lease some of them.




 This morning I went to see my granddaughter Molly and her two sweet little girls.  I snapped some pictures on the way into Grand Haven.   There was white all around me.


This is me driving on the street that goes by the channel to Lake Michigan. As you can see we have plenty of snow .

This is the channel that comes from the Grand River and flows into Lake Michigan. Out in the distant is our  most visited  lighthouse


I spotted this house on her street that is for sale. It stood out  with the blue trim among the white snow.


    This is Naomi,one of the great granddaughters.   If she looks a bit dizzy it's because she was playing ring -around-the rosy.   did you notice that her pj's on on backwards? That is because she keeps unzipping them and taking them off.  ..her mother says she found this works to keep them on her.

    Ohhhh, she's a doll baby, Elaine. Just as sweet as a cupcake. We've got a TON of snow here, too, and more forecast for tomorrow. Brother. Getting a little sssssssssssssick of winter. ha ha And it's only January. Oh dear. Susan

    Dear Elaine,
    Your great grand daughter is just a little angel. One of my niece's wore her clothes backwards because they could not keep that sweet little stinker in clothes.
    I would love to own that gorgeous house but brrrrwhen I look at that frozen channel. We have friends that live in Greyling and they have a cabin on lake michigan and there are ice chunks that are frozen all the way up to the cabin and in the winter you can't drive to it...you have to hike in 2 miles....brrrrrr...that makes my bones ache.

    Each photo is great. Animals are truly amazing and how right you are they blend in will. Just seeing the house for sale makes me want to move. I love the look of the house and I always am at my best when near water. LOL, Naomi is so darn cute in her jammies. I never thought to put pj's on backwards so they'd be left on. Grand Idea!
