Wind and Waves

I am joining southern day dreamer for outdoor at Wednesday at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/

These two brave young men are walking out to surf as a wave crashes over Grand Haven's north pier Tuesday, October 26, 2010. The two said they are normally kite surfers, but the wind was too strong. These winds are making awesome waves and great photo shoots. People need to remember to stay their distance and stay of the catwalk pier...you don't want to be washed off.
The other problem with the winds is the sand that is blown from the beaches onto roadways and many beach roads have closed... and cars traveling that way get a good sand blasting.

I know there have many tornadoes and wind these past two days . I hope all is safe and that the storm passe soon.

Yes, we are getting those horrible winds here also.
It is bad when the wind is blowing over the speed limit.LOL It was very hard driving into work this AM. But it could be worse. I pray for all of those who are in the blizzards.
