Pink petunias for Saturday.

These lovely petunias hang on my brother's porch in Ohio. he told me he hadn't intended to put any on the porch this year as he is gone much of the time . He is a trucker for ARE truck toppers. But as you can see , his porch is full of flower baskets because he found an end of season sale and he said the baskets were $5.00 a piece. He waters them daily and and puts Miracle Grow on them. When he isn't home his ex-wife does it for him. Yes, they are still friends.

This is a picture of his home. He bought it about twenty years ago. The house was built in 1894. It has a carriage entrance that he wants to restore. The second floor is an apartment and the third floor he uses for storage. It also has a full basement that has sleeping quarters,TV room, laundry and a work room.----click on pictures to enlarge
At one time he was thinking of turning it into a Bread and Breakfast
I always enjoy staying there because he keeps it so nice that I feel like I'm in a fancy bread and breakfast home.
The last pink post for July. Please visit our hostess Ms Beverly who so graciously puts this together.
Wishing you all a nice weekend ..Take time to enjoy the flowers.

  1. Happy Pink Saturday Elaine Sweetie...
Oh my gosh what a BEAUTIFUL pink share you have today. Please thank your brother for letting you share his beautiful home with us. I love the petunias, I could smell them as soon as I opened the page, and the geranium is just gorgeous. My gosh I would have bought several too at $5.00 a basket. What a deal.

Yes I believe he should turn this gorgeous home into a B & B. What fun he would have. He could be at home instead of being on the road. I hope he can cook. I love the little gingerbread trim and it appears that every room has a beautiful window view.

Thank you for sharing sweetie. I have so enjoyed my stay today. Have a beautiful Pink Saturday. Please stop over and let me share mine with you.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
