Company has gone some quiet time

My niece and her sons and my daughter Gwen have went to New York state for a visit.
Before they left the boys wanted to  have a bond fire and roast marshmallows to make s'mores.
I snapped a few pictures of them      The first one is my friend Bill building the fire

The boys were thrilled to have the fire and couldn't quite grasp the idea that it needed to burn down some before they could roast the marshmallows. In the mean time while waiting they put sticks in the fire until the ends were charcoal and wrote their names on my driveway

Of course it rained in the night and it was washed away.

Yusef  is starting to roast his marshmallows and I think Zack has a mouth full of one

This is one of their favorite things to do when they visit. When they return , we are going to try camp pies. Those you make with two pieces of bread and pie filling
It's the little things in life that gives us pleasure

  3. I love s'mores too.
We had them this weekend. I was lucky that my one gs likes to roast them but don't like to eat so he made them for grams.
    Have a great day
