Pink Saturday and beaded garland

This fine intricate beaded garland is a wonder and fascination to me. It is so delicate and who does all these tedious stringing of the beads on the wire that makes such beautiful thins.

This pale pink one I have in my bedroom.. The pink tin and the beaded garland cost me $1 .00 at a thrift store. I fell in love with it and couldn't wait to get it home.

This green beaded garland wreath I also found at a thrift store for around $5
It still amazes me how they are put together.
How long does it take to make something like this?
And then there are beautiful garlands for candles...so pretty

I found this picture of a beaded garland hair piece for a young girl's hair....Perfect for a flower girl or any other member of the bride's party

Hope all is having a wonderful pink Saturday.
Laughter is good medicine....it's a great "shock absorber" for life's unexpected bumps. It helps take the monontony out of everyday life.

  2. They are lovely. Maybe you could get Gwen to do the tedious work of making beaded garlands for you. HA! HOpe you are having a super Saturday. Much love, Tammy

  3. I love all those bead garlands. Surely there must be a fast way to make them. I don't know.

  5. LOVE THE BEAD STUFF. RAY'S MOM USED TO WORK WITH BEADS. BUT I DON'T REMEMBER HER MAKING SUCH DETAILED THINGS. I HAVE AN ANGEL SHE MADE FOR THE TOP OF MY TREE OUT OF BEADS. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. BUT I CAN'T GET THE HEAD TO STAY ON ANYMORE. GUESS I WILL HAVE TO SUPER GLUE IT ON. I HAVE IT WITH SOME OF MY ANGELS IN THE SPARE BEDROOM. I KEEP CHANGING MY ANGELS AROUND IN THE LIVING ROOM SO I DON'T GET BORED LOOKING AT THE SAME ONES ALL THE TIME. WITH THE BIG SELECTION I HAVE, IT COULD TAKE ME YEARS TO GET REALLY BORED WITH THEM. HAHA!!
