Monday a day of Blue friends

Another day for blue Monday and friends. I will soon be thinking of putting up Christmas decoration and was remembering when my late husband liked a blue tree...well not really blue but he liked it sprayed with snow and lots of blue lights and ornaments. I put some blue things together for fun but don't thing I will go that route this year. With my children grown and gone and the grand kids also I do not put up a big tree anymore. I will hang a few blue things in the memory of the man who won my heart.

Be sure to go by Smiling Sally and see the other blue finds for today http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

  5. Happy Thanksgiving Elaine, sweet post and I totally understand. I still put up a big tree even though it is just myself and my son, but I know how much work it is and would eventually like to go for a bunch of little trees instead before I break my neck on a ladder, lol, not really funny though as we get a little older (even if young at heart) we should make it easier on ourselves and safe. Hugs my bloggy friend, Marilou

  6. Great blue post. I don't put up a big tree anymore either.
The family lives so far and since we will all be together for Thanksgiving this year they will be going to the in-laws for Christmas.
I do however decorate my house for hubby and I.
    Have a blessed Thanksgiving

  7. I am with you. I do very little decorating. I have been by myself since 1995. I just reminisce over the good days and memories.

I THINK THAT IS TO TAKE HELP WITH THE DEPRESSION EVERYONE IS FEELING THIS YEAR WITH THE ECONOMY THE WAY IT IS. DO YOU STILL PUT UP YOUR SNOWMAN COLLECTION? I LOVE WALKING THRU STORES AND LOOKING AT ALL THE CHRISTMAS THINGS FOR SALE. CHEERS ME UP.
    LOVE KAY
