Halloween and a touch of pink

I am joining Linda from A LA CARTE http://ljm-alacarte.blogspot.com/ for Junking Treasures.
This is my first time and I wanted to take part even though I do not have a lot of time as I need to go with my granddaughter to take her little girls in for some shots.

My first treasure was this cute Halloween witch.. She is not very scary. I guess you could call her a grandma witch.. maybe me since I'm a great-grandmother. I paid seventy-five cents for her at the thrift store.
The things pictures below are some of my pink favorites.. I love the porcelain girl planter and the pink slippers with lace. The dolly was a freebie and I paid a total of three dollars for the other things .

I love to go bargain hunting. I have several stores I visit every week. I can do that since I'm retired. My kids say" if you enjoy it ...do it" Little do they realize that some of these treasures will still be here when I'm gone.

Hope everyone has a day of fun adventure in junk treasure land.

  3. Nice finds!! Yes but, they may end up having a love for the things you did, or maybe they will see it and it'll make them think of you and smile. That's what I love about blogging, it keeps me with Grandma always(the finds, the sharing and the fun)!

  8. THE PLANTER LOOKS OLD. SHE IS REALLY CUTE. ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR THE SLIPPERS? THEY ARE REALLY CUTE TOO. I HAVE SOME HALLOWEEN STUFF OUT. OF COURSE, WITH RAY & JEFF BABYSITTING OUR GREAT GRANDSON EVERY WED. NIGHT, HE LIKES TO LOOK AT THE COLORS WHEN THEY ARE LIT, THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I PUT THEM OUT NOW. I AM GIVING ALL OF MY HALLOWEEN STUFF TO HIM SOMEDAY. CAN'T WAIT TO DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS. I START THAT THE WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING, SO MY HOUSE IS CHEERFUL FOR THANKSGIVING. THERE IS A GIRL AT WORK WHO DECORATES FOR CHRISTMAS STARTING IN OCT. AND IT TAKES HER MOST OF OCT. TO COMPLETE IT. PLUS EVERY YEAR SHE ADDS MORE. HER HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL WHEN IT IS ALL DONE. BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. IT SHOULD BE IN A MAGAZINE.
    LOVE KAY
