Wonderful little shop

While on my trip this past week, my twin sister Eileen took me to a little antique store tucked in the mountains of Crossnore NC.    As soon as we entered I knew it would be unique as the owner Kathleen was dressed in period garb of the forties

She has the nicest smile that warms you to her right away.  She was very helpful with lots of stories. She said as a child she loved dressing up and hats were her favorite thing. My sister and I  thoroughly enjoyed our visit with her   She was kind enough to let me snap some pictures.

So many pretty displays and a few of them pink.

Many cute little kitchen items and I loved the Campbell's soup kid display.

Kathleen Reed calls her shop "Elegant Junque" and her card says Antiques,Mid-century, Retto, Furniture, Jewerly and Clothing       If any of you bloggers live near  or want to visit , I'm sure she would love to have you stop.

More vacation pictures later and if you visit my niece Tammy's blog you will see some of our travels

Have a great day and may you find joy in the simple things.
