Another night of blowing snow.

The last two days we have had blowing snow and very cold temps.
I have been staying inside keeping warm and finding enough to do.

This afternoon I got out the wraping paper and wraped a few things
I am sending my sister in North Carolina .We are twins and we have always
sent each other something for Christmas even after we'd married and
and moved seven hundred miles from each other.

I found a beautiful cup with a pink rose and a tray and coaster in a set.
There was a box of note cards and a package of lemonade mix
and of course a box of Turkish delight candies. I then slipped in a gift card to her favorite store.

With evening here and my task for today done I have made myself a cup
of coffee and will settle in under a warm blanket with a book I have started. One of those where boy get girl.......light reading for pleasure

Let it snow...I'm cozy and warm

  1. Oooh sweetie...
I would say the snow has arrived for sure there. Looks cold but so inviting. I love it if I don't have to get out in it. I just want to sit by the fire and enjoy the cool weather outside by a warm fire inside, catch a few snowflakes (angel kisses), and make a snow angel. I have so wanted to make a snow angel.

Thank you for sharing. I love the pics. So beautiful.

Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit.

    Country hugs...Sherry

  5. OMG ELAINE,
I BOUGHT THE SAME CUP SET FOR MAE. SHE IS ONE OF MY FRIENDS FROM WORK. WHEN I SEEN IT I SAID THAT IS MAE. SO I JUST PICKED IT UP. CYNDI LAUGHED AT ME. I THOUGHT I WAS ALL DONE SHOPPING FOR CHRISTMAS. BUT WHEN I FIND SOMETHING LIKE THAT I JUST KNEW I HAD TO BUY IT FOR MAE. CYNDI SAYS I HAVE A BIG HEART. I TOLD YES, BUT I NEED A BIGGER BANK ROLL. HAHA!! LOVED THE CARD WITH THE MUSIC AND THE SANTA SOAP. HOW DIFFERENT IS THAT ONE?
    LOVE KAY
